Hours: 37 hours per week, Term time plus 1 week (Perm role)

Working Hours: 8:15 am – 4:15 pm (3:45 pm on Fridays) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
We are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in a specialist school with a focus on engineering, catering to students aged 14-19 with interests in Science, Computing, and Mathematics. As our student numbers grow, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Cover Supervisor to join our team and support our students in various ways.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide supervision and ensure a productive learning environment during teacher absences.
2. Accompany and support students during school trips to ensure their safety and engagement.
3. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task during lessons.
4. Work closely with teachers to understand lesson objectives and support student learning.
Requirements:
5. Educated to Level3 (A Level, NVQIII) or above
6. GCSE equivalents in English and Maths at Grade C or above
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
9. Flexibility to adapt to different classroom settings and student needs.
