Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The role involves engaging with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, and others, to enhance business performance and reputation, ensuring sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide product pre-sales promotion, including introducing new product features to channel customers, assisting customers in product selection, and collaborating with sales staff to meet sales targets.
* Define and manage a product roadmap that balances delivery with value and aligns with organizational strategy.
* Provide product training to technical engineers of channel customers to enhance their technical knowledge.
* Collect product feedback from customers, contribute to technological improvements, and implement changes based on customer reviews.
* Assist customers in preparing tender documents and ensure tenders meet required standards. Support business partners like distributors and resellers in brand promotion through participation in trade shows, tech days, open days, etc.
* Provide technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, respond to technical issues, collaborate with R&D on troubleshooting, and facilitate integration with third-party systems.
* Maintain communication with headquarters regarding new product lines and technical issues to ensure timely problem resolution.
Key Attributes:
* Experience managing multiple products and initiatives with proper prioritization.
* Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, door entry, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video wall, video/audio matrix, network, and industrial drones.
* Ability to work independently, set clear strategic directions.
* Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, with influence and ability to generate buy-in.
* Proven ability to analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data for decision-making.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Fast learner of new technologies.
