Vet Surgeon - Purpose Built Practice - Work Towards a Certificate
A well-established small animal practice in Nottinghamshire is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their permanent, full-time team. They are well-equipped and structured to allow veterinary surgeons the time and support needed to manage cases thoroughly. Ongoing clinical development is actively encouraged across the team.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver high-quality consultations, preventative healthcare, and routine and advanced surgical procedures
* Diagnose and manage a varied small animal medical and surgical caseload
* Follow cases through from diagnosis to treatment outcomes
* Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, and reception colleagues
* Maintain consistently high standards of patient welfare and client communication

* Salary: £50,000–£70,000 (DOE)

What They Need From You
* RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Minimum of 3 years’ postgraduate experience
* Proven ability to manage a varied small animal caseload with confidence
* Demonstrable interest in early diagnostics and case continuity
* Clear, professional communication skills and effective teamwork
* Consistent, patient-focused clinical decision-making
