Are you a kind, compassionate individual with a passion for helping others? Join our dedicated team at Mayflower Court, a specialist dementia care home where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

We’re looking for a Care Assistant who is committed to delivering person-centred care and creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for our residents living with dementia.

What You’ll Do:

1. Provide high-quality personal care, companionship, and emotional support
2. Assist residents with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, eating, and mobility
3. Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
4. Support residents in engaging with activities that promote wellbeing and independence
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for those in our care
6. Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans

What We’re Looking For
• A caring nature and a genuine desire to help others
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a good sense of humour
• Experience in care is desirable

Mayflower Court in Southampton is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 72 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
