Full-time Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) & Native-speaking English Teaching Assistant (NTA)
(Funding Post: on a contract basis)
We invite applications from suitable candidates for the above post(s) for the 2026-2027 school year.
Candidates who do not fully meet the NET requirements may also be considered for the NTA position.
Descriptions
Requirements
* The applicant should be a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence.
* The applicant should obtain the following qualifications:
o (i) a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent, and
o (ii) a Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at certificate level, or equivalent, and
o (iii) valid IELTS results (overall band score of 7.5 or above, with 'Speaking' band score of 7.5 or above).
* Attainment of a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) is preferred.
* Align with the Christian education philosophy and our school's mission and vision.
* Consent to undergo a Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC).
* Completion of a self-funded physical examination by a registered medical practitioner.
Duties
* Cultivate a vibrant, interactive, and authentic English learning environment.
* Design, coordinate, and implement whole‑school English activities.
* Applicants with relevant teaching experience will be an advantage.
* Produce, adapt, and refine teaching materials and resources to support school‑based curriculum development.
