The Role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Food, DT & Art Technician to assist within our Food, Design Technology, and Art departments. The candidate would predominantly work within the food department.

Responsible to the Curriculum Team Leader, the purpose of the role is to provide support to all teaching staff in the Food, DT and Art departments. The post holder will prepare and provide all materials for lessons, ensure stock levels are maintained, ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, to undertake administration tasks, cleaning of equipment and facilities, conduct regular checks of all Food, DT & Art equipment and support students and teachers on the practical elements of the curriculum. The post holder is required to liaise with other Technician team members to ensure consistency of work tasks across the department.

The successful applicant must have an excellent understanding of food and food preparation and may occasionally be required to carry out general Art and DT tasks.

The Corsham School is part of a small Multi Academy Trust serving the market town of Corsham and surrounding villages. It is situated in North Wiltshire, on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, 8 miles from Bath and within easy reach of the M4.
