Core Skills & Experience (all levels)
Ability to analyse business problems, gather and refine requirements, and support the delivery of solutions
Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand language
A collaborative mindset with a passion for driving meaningful change
Adaptability to apply the right analytical techniques for different challenges
Confidence working with stakeholders across the business
For More Experienced Analysts
If you're operating at mid–senior level, you may also bring:
Experience delivering across a full project lifecycle in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
Exposure to Financial Services, regulatory change, or complex transformation programmes
The ability to influence strategic decisions, challenge thinking, and guide leadership direction
A track record as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, building consensus and driving alignment
Resilience and confidence in high-pressure, fast-moving environments
Experience mentoring or coaching others
Life & Pensions and/or Tech implementation experience
Professional qualifications (ISEB, BCS, or IIBA) – desirable but not essential
What You Could Be Doing at Wesleyan
Depending on the level of role you're matched to, responsibilities could include:
Supporting or leading the planning, estimation, and scoping of BA workstreams
Conducting discovery activity, analysing processes, and defining business needs
Preparing documentation such as requirements, user stories, process maps, benefits plans, risk logs, and more
Facilitating workshops and collaboration sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts
Contributing to the delivery of projects that generate measurable improvements for our customers
Acting as a change advocate, shaping new ways of working and supporting cultural development
Building strong, trusted relationships across the business, with customers, and with third-party partners
