We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Support Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent English communication, and hands-on experience within the solar industry.
Role Overview
The Administrative Support Officer will play a key role in supporting company operations, ensuring smooth coordination of tasks, and managing solar industry submissions (EPVQS & Hometree). The ideal candidate will be proactive, IT-proficient, and able to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. The role also requires versatility and readiness to handle a variety of industry-relevant, non-specialist tasks, adapting to the needs of the business as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and process EPVQS and Hometree submissions accurately and on time.
• Provide administrative support to management, including document preparation, scheduling, and correspondence.
* Maintain accurate company records, spreadsheets, and databases.
* Coordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Draft and respond to professional communications in English.
* Support project coordination for solar installations and service activities.
* Take initiative on industry-relevant but non-specialist tasks, demonstrating adaptability across different areas of work.
* Handle multiple tasks with strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience working in an administrative role within the UK solar industry.
* Strong knowledge of EPVQS and Hometree submission processes.
* Proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office 365.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Professional, proactive, and versatile approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience supporting management or senior teams in a solar company.
* Knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements in the renewable energy sector.
* MS Office certifications or equivalent IT training.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
