HGV Driver (C+E)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Pay Rate: £ per hour + overtime
Shift patterns: Any 5 days from 7, start time 5am
Location: McKinney Road, Newtownabbey - BT36 4PE

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
1. Drive safely and compliantly at all times;
2. Be legally compliant with working time directive and EU Driving hours legislation;
3. Maintain regular contact with the transport team;
4. Comply with local legislation requirements and company policies and procedures at all times;
5. To represent DHL in a professional manner to customers and provide excellent customer service at all times;
6. Regular completion of vehicle checks;
7. Manual Handling of Customer Products;
8. Timely and efficient completion of deliveries and transportation;
9. To undergo regular training and driving assessments.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
10. Valid Driving License C+E (Class 1);
11. Driver CPC certification;
12. Ability to move product in line with H&S regulation;
13. Previous experience of delivery driving;
14. Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules;
15. Ability to read, understand and follow directions / instructions;
16. Knowledge of EU driving regulations and geographical area.
