Senior Technical Support Specialist - 2nd Line Support (Medical devices/Equipment)
We are currently is searching for a Senior Technical Support Specialist to be the crucial link between our specialised Lab Equipment and Refrigeration engineering teams and our clients. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you are the escalation point and the technical middleman!
You will be one of the key players (joining 2 existing experts) responsible for coordinating complex technical resolutions.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Handle a wide range of medical and laboratory equipment used in clinical specialties.
* Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical problems as well as managing customer mailbox.
* Assist in managing the risk associated with medical equipment (e.g., training, investigation of incidents, testing Etc.
* Communicate with end-users, suppliers, and external agencies on equipment safety and risk.
* Compile reports and analyse data (KPIs) for the manager.
Requirements:
* Must have experience within 2nd line support.
* This is an onsite role based in Chorley
* Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
* Preference will be given to candidates from a medical device background however, candidates from a heavy machinery/manufacturing background.
