The Company Seymour John are supporting a well-established business in the Stourbridge area, who are looking to strengthen their finance team, with the appointment of an Accounts Assistant. The Opportunity Duties will include: Processing supplier invoices for payment using Sage 50 Reconciling supplier accounts and maintaining accurate records Communicating with suppliers to obtain VAT invoices and account statements Supporting weekly supplier payment runs and identifying priority payment Managing sales ledger duties including raising sales invoices, credit control, reconciling customer accounts Updating and maintaining supplier data within the company cashflow system Collaborating with the sales team to review and confirm Purchase Orders in Sage Ensuring all relevant Purchase Orders are accurately reflected in the cashflow Coordinating and processing urgent ad hoc bank payments as required Personal Profile We’re looking to hire an Accounts Assistant who is dynamic, hard-working and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
