Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry kitchen. This role requires a strong balance of creativity and operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while continuously elevating our dessert offerings.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all daily operations of the pastry kitchen
* Develop innovative and visually appealing dessert menus aligned with the brand identity
* Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and recipes
* Manage cost control, inventory, and purchasing processes
* Maintain and enforce food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
* Train, mentor, and manage the pastry team to achieve high performance
* Plan production efficiently to meet operational demands
* Stay updated with global pastry trends and incorporate them into the menu
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
* Drive guest satisfaction through creativity and attention to detail
Qualifications
* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in pastry, preferably in a leadership role
* Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and product development skills
* Proven leadership and team management abilities
* Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
* Good command of English is preferred
