Sales Consultant


The NEC Group is looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team. Our mission is to create unforgettable experiences through world-class events and services.


We have a fantastic opening for a Sales Consultant to join our Exhibitions team in Venue Services.


At the NEC you'll be working at the UK's largest event space and number one exhibition venue. Home to your favourite shows and voted the AEO venue of the year 4 times, we host over 500 events each year, welcoming 2.3 million visitors and over 45,000 exhibiting companies.


About The Role


This role sells products and services to NEC customers (our Exhibitors) and maximises commercial returns by delivering sales and service targets.


Day to day you will:

1. Understand NEC products and services to effectively sell to the marketplace.
2. Investigate customer needs and offer suitable solutions.
3. Manage sales portfolios and convert leads to sales, exceeding targets.
4. Maximise sales opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling.
5. Support sales order processing and resolve issues within service levels.


About You


Our Ideal Candidate will have around 2 years experience in a sales and service environment and demonstrate a passion for selling and customer service.


Contact centre / telephony experience is preferred and you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the drive to exceed targets. Strong interpersonal skills, negotiating and building rapport are also a must!
