Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) is our fast-paced sausage facility located in Hull. Using only the best cuts of British pork, fresh herbs and spices, Cranswick are the UK’s leading producer of gourmet sausages, supplying major retailers and foodservice outlets alike.
A rare opportunity has arisen to apply for an HR Administration and Data Apprentice role. We are looking for a passionate individual who wants the opportunity to develop and contribute to the HR function, this role is to provide support and all-round assistance to the Human Resources Department, whilst studying for a qualification.
The role will compromise of assisting with maintaining accurate records, HR processes, payroll preparation support, employment legislation, policy and minute taking, recruitment, data analysis, training, and development. To always maintain confidentiality.
This role would suit a graduate looking for an HR entry role, progression available.
Shift: Monday to Friday
* Capture and analyse HR data, correlating this information via spreadsheets, reports, and graphs to assist the HR department disseminate information throughout departments
* Data input using HR system; People XD
* Maintain accurate personnel records on HR system
* Acknowledge and action general payroll support to the Payroll Administrator
* Refer and present concise information to HR personal where and when required
* Assist with recruitment drives by collating CVs, sifting information, preparing documentation
* Assist with rolling out recruitment advertising and interviews
* Upkeep of information streams within the company such as TV communications, notice boards
* Assist with the design of posters, newsletters, and HR media information for engagement initiatives
* Respond to ad hoc queries from employees within other departments
* Assist with absence statistics, sickness monitoring and counselling record keeping
* Available to offer admin support to the L&D team
Candidate Requirements:
* CIPD Level 3 (working towards/ to undertake)
* GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification
* Excellent attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage
* Methodical and logical approach to tasks
