Staff Nurse – Endoscopy (Permanent, Part‑time – 17.5 hours per week). Salary up to £39,000.00 pro rata depending on skills and experience. Includes occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities
* Be flexible, motivated and an excellent communicator and team worker.
* Join a close‑knit team headed by the matron on a consultant‑led ward.
* Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs.
* Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around.
* Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities.
* Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered with the appropriate governing body (RGN or equivalent) and hold post‑registration experience.
* Endoscopy experience is not required – training will be provided.
* Flexible working to suit the department, including occasional evenings and weekends.
* Excellent communicator and team worker – flexible and motivated.
Key Information About The Role
* 1 endoscopy procedure room with in‑house decontamination facilities.
* Department staffed Monday to Friday 7 am – 6 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends.
* Bank hours – work on an ad‑hoc basis rather than a set number of hours.
