Pay rate – £33 per hour Contract – Temporary Wirral Council are recruiting experienced adult’s Social Workers for their Safeguarding team. Hybrid working - 2 days remote, 3 days in the office Must have strong experience in adult safeguarding or similar statutory adult services. Leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014 and triaging new concerns as part of the Duty Rota. Managing a diverse and complex caseload with autonomy and professional judgement. Undertaking strengths‑based assessments and developing outcome‑focused support plans. Completing Mental Capacity Assessments when required. Undertaking Making Safeguarding Personal Conversations that shape risk planning and outcomes. Working collaboratively with health partners, police, care providers, and voluntary organisations Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
