Home-Start Wyre Forest is seeking an experienced and highly organised Scheme Secretary to support the smooth day-to-day running of our busy family support charity.
This is a key role within our small, friendly team, combining strong administrative expertise with financial responsibility.
About the Role
You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and financial duties, including:
* Day-to-day office administration
* Maintaining financial records, including restricted funding streams
* Managing banking and petty cash
* Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
Strong experience in both administration and finance is essential for this role.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has proven administrative and financial experience
* Is highly organised, reliable, and detail-focused
* Has a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
* Understands the challenges faced by families
* Works well as part of a small, supportive team
Experience working with families, volunteers, or within the charity sector is desirable, along with an understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
