Overview
Spencer Ogden are assisting our Lincoln based client to contract a Field Service Immigration Partner.
This is an on-site position, with occasional home working.

Responsibilities
* Ensuring all visa processes are defined and met, to enable Field Engineers to mobilise to projects on time.
* Ensuring the number of Valid Visas kept meets the KPI set, to support planned and unplanned work.
* The Visa Coordinator will be the expert in migration & visa issues for FS. Must be capable of making decisions and recommending courses of action to ensure global mobilisation of manpower in line with customer demands.
* Close collaboration with Resource Planners, Project Managers, Regions & international embassies to ensure an efficient and cost effective level of support is provided to the business.
* Candidate must be able to understand complicated technical issues surrounding migration to ensure that the most appropriate visas are applied for to support the business activities; protecting reputation & FSE well being in the process.
* Responsible for reviewing and updating IGT Visa application instructions and information contained within the Visa database, when there are changes to immigration law and / or internal processes.
* Define IGT visa strategy based on the business short, medium and long term forecast which ensures sufficient FSEs meet the immigration requirements for them to work in the relevant territories.
* Facilitate query resolution for LCN & FSP PS DO Field Staff to ensure delegates are supported.
* Visa database administration - Reviewing the available reports, feeding back issues to the Manpower Planners and Admins, assist in reviewing and cleansing the data.
* Provide support in IGT Manpower planning meetings on visa related and immigration issues.
* Maintaining KPI data for valid visas (contingency and manned jobs) And related applications.
* Carry out best practice sharing activities to ensure subject knowledge is built up across the relevant teams to further support the delegates.
* Responsible for gathering and verifying Country immigration and visa information obtained from GMS, the Consulates and Legal.
* Have involvement in building the continuing relationship with Legal and Global Shared Services.
Qualifications
* A number of years experience in a similar role. Knowledge of visa and international delegation processes and office tools. Experience of working in a large corporate organisation which operates Global Field Service department / with global mobilisation requirements.
* Awareness of Global Immigration and issues surrounding it - including working abroad. Project Coordination experience.
* People management, communications, able to work independently as well as a team member.
* Education - Degree Level or Equivalent.
* SAP / Primavera & Microsoft needed.
* Excellent Knowledge of FSE skill requirements.
* Experience of working with other cultures.
* English speaking, with French, Spanish or Portuguese being beneficial.
