Being a Nutritionist at Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services offers many advantages! As a Nutritionist at Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS), you will oversee all aspects of the Center's nutrition services and programs, including menu preparation and delivery, managing individual nutritional needs, ensuring compliance with the National School Nutrition Program protocols, meeting USDA guidelines, and providing nutrition education to clients, families, and staff.

* Oversee nutrition services for residential and school programs on the Malvern and West Chester campuses
* Manage compliance with the National School Nutrition Program requirements
* Provide nutrition education to students, families, and staff
* Collaborate with the medical team to meet the individual nutritional needs of each student

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern, Pennsylvania, services include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, employment and social skills training, and private school educational services for children and adolescents (6-21 years) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and related psychiatric and behavioral challenges, often associated with trauma.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required. Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist in Pennsylvania.
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience. Experience as a clinical dietitian and working with behaviorally challenged children and adolescents preferred. Experience with federal programs such as NSNP preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis platforms (e.g., My Avatar). Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and adhere to guidelines.
Valid driver’s license required.
