GSL Education are seeking a Science Teacher to work in Sheffield schools based around the S11 locality, ensuring structured teaching that develops investigation skills and a love for science. As a Science Teacher, you will plan clear and engaging sessions, support learners of varying abilities, and create a classroom environment where students feel confident to ask questions and experiment with new concepts. Responsibilities: Deliver well-planned lessons covering a range of scientific topics. Encourage curiosity, enquiry, and analytical thinking in the classroom. Use effective behaviour management to maintain a positive learning environment. Provide constructive feedback to support student progress. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Monitor pupil development and maintain accurate assessment records. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Science Teacher. Clear communication and good organisational skills. A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A professional and responsible approach to safeguarding.
