At Wykham Park Academy we have a dedicated team who work together effectively to enable us to realise our vision of preparing our students for success in the 21st century. Our academy is a vibrant and exciting place to work and was graded as good in all areas by Ofsted in 2020. We are proud that our student outcomes and progress are very strong across the academy.
The successful candidate:
We are looking to recruit an exceptional candidate to the role of Inclusion Manager to join our Inclusion Team at Wykham Park Academy. We require a calm, confident and enthusiastic individual to manage and lead inclusion within the Inclusion Team and across the academy, in order to support students to make the most of their education.
Our new Inclusion Hub, The Aspire Centre, will be a new and exciting hub of academic and SEMH support from September 2026. This will be an invaluable and integral area of Banbury Campus, providing a supportive environment for our most vulnerable students to gain the confidence and skills that they need to succeed in education, with the focus being for students to be in their lessons, achieving and learning so that they can thrive in an ever-changing world.
The work in the Inclusion Team incorporates pastoral support, LSA support, ELSA, 1:1 counselling, as well as bespoke literacy and numeracy programmes designed to support excellent progress for all students, who need to catch up and keep up. You will have excellent communication, strong motivational skills and a desire to improve educational outcomes for young people.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing access to targeted support for key groups of students, and ensuring the effective day to day running of The Aspire Centre. This will involve managing the responsive aspects of the centre, therefore needing to have excellent relationships with staff, students and parents. They will also be responsible for the administrative tasks involved in the effective running of the centre, including the administration around access arrangements for examinations.
Ultimately, we are looking for a committed candidate with an uncompromising belief that all students deserve an outstanding education. They will uphold our inclusive ethos and provide opportunities for all students to progress well.
What we are looking for:
* Sky-high expectations around uniform, behaviour and conduct
* A belief that all students, regardless of barriers to learning, can succeed with the right support.
* A genuine interest in young people and their learning
* The ability to communicate clearly and confidently
* Adaptability, and a sense of humour
* Qualifications at least to level 2 or equivalent. English and Maths at grade C/grade 4 or above
What we offer:
* Excellent working conditions
* A supportive environment
* Opportunity for further development
* Wide ranging facilities and a beautiful, green location in a historic market town.
