Reports To: Site Manager
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the continuous, safe operation of heavy plant and equipment. This is a dynamic role for a proactive, technically skilled leader with experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and LV electrical fault finding.
What you’ll do:
* Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to deliver preventative and reactive maintenance efficiently and safely.
* Plan and prioritise maintenance activities, minimise downtime, and optimise production.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
* Monitor departmental costs, manage spares and materials, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide hands-on guidance and fault-finding expertise to the team.
You’ll need:
* Engineering qualification (C&G, NVQ, BTEC, HND, or equivalent)
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Experience in heavy industrial maintenance, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
* Proactive, organised, and flexible with excellent communication skills
