Job Purpose: I am a mum of 5 with mobility issues, pain and weakness due to Fibromyalgia and Sciatica. My health condition means that I walk with a crutch, can only manage the lightest of tasks and sometimes fall because of the weakness. I am looking for a female Personal Assistant to help me with shopping, meal preparation as well as cleaning. I live in a Halal household so awareness of this would be an advantage.
Location: Norwich, NR5
Details:
* Cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.
* General tidying and putting things away.
* Grocery shopping. There is a supermarket a short walking distance from the home.
* Filling and emptying the dishwasher.
* Laundry, ironing and changing beds.
* Cooking, ideally with some knowledge of Asian cooking and/or the ability to follow a recipe and/or instructions.
* Support visiting new places.
* Support with attending appointments.
Person specification
Essential:
* Female carer only.
* Ability to adapt and think out of the box.
* A car owner with the appropriate business insurance.
* Respectful, professional, trustworthy and non-judgmental.
* Kind and friendly, chatty and caring.
Desirable: Family oriented, used to working in a busy household.
Summary terms and conditions:
* The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.
* Hours and times of work: 10 hours per week, days and times advised in advance.
* The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
* This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, Manual Handling of Objects, Moving and Handling.
Post is subject to the following:
* A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
* Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
* Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
