Start Well Team Leader (Early Years)
Salary: MB4 (£45,091 – £51,356) or (£27,420 – £31,230) for part time. Hours: Post 1 – 37 hrs full time; Post 2 – 22.5 hrs part‑time. Permanent. Location: Stockport Family Hubs / Health Centres across Stockport.
Your Role
This role provides operational leadership for the Start Well service within the Family Hub neighbourhood model, ensuring high quality, joined‑up support for children and families across the 019 offer. As part of the neighbourhood leadership team, you will coordinate multi‑disciplinary delivery, promote evidence‑based practice, and drive consistent pathways and improved outcomes. A key focus is enhancing school readiness across Stockport and supporting disadvantaged communities and children with additional needs, including SEND. Working collaboratively across Council and NHS partners, you will ensure safe, effective services aligned to policy frameworks and contribute to an integrated health, care and education system for Stockport families.
