About the Nursery We are a well‑established and highly regarded nursery, dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment where children can learn, develop and flourish. Caring for children aged 6 months to 5 years, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional early years education and giving every child the very best start in life. The Role As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role within our friendly and experienced team. You will work collaboratively to create a supportive, engaging and inclusive environment for all children. Your role will involve planning and leading age‑appropriate activities, supporting children during mealtimes, assisting with personal care, and promoting positive behaviour and emotional well‑being. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver stimulating activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Observe, monitor and record children’s progress and developmental milestones Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers, ensuring open and effective communication Maintain a safe, clean and hygienic learning environment at all times Support children’s emotional needs, offering reassurance, comfort and encouragement Work closely with the team to create a creative and inspiring learning atmosphere Qualifications and Experience A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or an equivalent qualification) Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework Strong communication and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development Working Hours This is a full‑time, Monday to Friday role, working 8:00am to 4:00pm.
