Fluid Legal is thrilled to partner exclusively with a leading national law firm in the search for a talented Registered Legal Executive to join their high-performing Property & Commercial team, based in Christchurch.

The Opportunity
This role represents a chance to step into a well-established, high-performing team. As a Registered Legal Executive, you'll manage a variety of matters across the property and commercial spectrum - including residential conveyancing, refinancing, subdivisions, easements, and related local government work.

You'll be encouraged to work with autonomy, take initiative, and build strong, lasting relationships with clients. The role will see you operating as a key point of contact both internally and externally.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Managing residential, rural, and commercial transactions
* Drafting and lodging Sale and Purchase Agreements
* Completing title and LIM due diligence
* Liaising with surveyors, councils, clients, and financial institutions
* Supporting refinancing and lending arrangements
* Advising on commercial leases and terms
* Drafting trust documentation and ensuring legal compliance
* Overseeing settlements and key deadlines
* Maintaining compliance with AML and regulatory obligations
Professional Requirements
This role is suitable for registered legal executives with 2 - 6 years of experience in a fee-earning role (ideally with exposure to budgets) who are passionate about property law. Subdivision and commercial property experience is preferred, but not essential.
Full-time applicants are preferred, but some part-time arrangements may be negotiated; enquire within.
