Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning: The role collaborates with cross-functional global TA teams to align technology roadmaps, new product development, and oversee the delivery of robust, secure, and future-ready solutions for TA instruments from GCC. Explore the opportunities to grow and expand the GCC’s contribution in TA Instruments.
2. Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding the team through complex development tasks and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software. Define best practices, architecture standards, and security/compliance protocols for Microsoft technologies.
3. Architecture and Design: Lead the design and architecture of scalable and maintainable software solutions, making key decisions that align with business objectives and technology standards.
4. Team Management: Build, Manage, mentor, and provide technical guidance to team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
5. Development: Accountable for design and able to be hands on as needed to deliver a high quality code from the development team.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
7. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and encouraging the team to stay updated with new technologies and trends.
8. Code Reviews: Perform regular code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices. Provide constructive feedback to developers to help them grow.
9. Project Ownership: Own key technical projects, ensure they align with product goals, and coordinate with other teams to ensure successful integration and delivery.
10. Performance Monitoring – Accountable for product performance and stakeholder satisfaction for deployed solutions. Continuously improve capabilities through metrics analysis, feedback loops, and post-implementation reviews
Qualifications
11. Minimum of 5+ years technology leadership, Minimum 3+ years of people leadership, and minimum of 5+ years of development experience as individual experience with overall min 15+ years of experience.
12. Hands-on expertise in software development with proficiency in Microsoft technology stack, especially in, Windows operating systems, along with .NET and Azure for building and deploying applications across various platforms. Winforms and WPF experience is mandatory. Development platforms like Visual Studio, GitHub, and Azure DevOps, while Microsoft 365 drives collaboration with tools like Teams and OneDrive needed.
13. Experience with System architecture and designing scalable, maintainable software solutions is a must.
14. Proven track record of leading small teams and mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
15. Understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience working in Agile development teams.
16. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
17. Problem-solving mindset, able to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions.
18. Experience with modern development tools, version control (., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
19. /MTech/MS/MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
