Duties and Responsibilities:
The Commercial Manager will lead the company’s commercial strategy and oversee business development activities within the HVAC and engineering products wholesale sector.
Key duties include:
• Developing and implementing commercial strategies to expand market share in HVAC, ducting systems, and related engineering products.
• Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments to identify new business opportunities.
• Managing key customer relationships with contractors, consultants, distributors, and engineering partners.
• Leading negotiations with suppliers and commercial partners to secure favourable terms and longterm cooperation.
• Overseeing commercial and sales performance, including budgeting, pricing, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Providing leadership to the sales and commercial team and ensuring alignment with marketing, operations, and logistics.
• Preparing commercial performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with UK VAT regulations, trade requirements, and internal governance standards.
• Representing the company at trade shows, industry events, and business meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in any relevant area
• Minimum 3 years’ senior experience in commercial management, business development, or sales strategy.
• Essential industry experience in HVAC, ducting systems, building services, engineering products, or related technical sectors.
• Proven track record of revenue growth, key account management, and commercial leadership.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of UK commercial practices, VAT regulations, and wholesale trade processes.
• Fluent English is a must, Fluent Chinese is a plus.

Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £42,000 – £55,000 per annum plus sales performance-based bonus, etc.
