A well-regarded secondary school in the North-East Manchester area, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Geography teacher to join their committed team. About the Role:
As a Geography teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across Key Stages. You'll contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and play a key role in helping students reach their full academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons that foster a love for the subject
* Prepare students for assessments and examinations to ensure strong academic outcomes
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports student development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching practices
* Inspire curiosity about the world and develop students’ geographical thinking
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Geography or a closely related subject
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Commitment to student progress and academic excellence
Requirements:
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service
* References covering the last 24 months
* Availability for interviews and/or trial days
