Overview
SDH Developments Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, provides pharmacy services to patients and visitors attending the Outpatients Department at Torbay Hospital. We are seeking a pharmacy dispenser to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Dispense medicines for patients.
* Order and receipt of stock.
* Provide an efficient front of house service for customers, including the sale of medicines.
* Maintain excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills and work effectively as part of a team in a pressured environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or recognised equivalent qualifications). GCSE English and Maths.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Computer literate.
* Understanding of Health & Safety Legislation and Risk Management.
* Moderate periods of standing and the ability to reach for and lift light pharmaceutical products.
* Exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances is rare.
* Work pattern generally predictable with periods of concentration required for dispensing and completing general duties.
