The South Hams and West Devon HTT are looking for an experienced and skilled practitioner to join their team. This is an exciting time to join HTT services as they are undergoing a period of transformation to include assessment and crisis team functions. The team is based in Ivybridge and covers South Hams and West Devon.
The team is small and welcoming with strong managerial and clinical leadership. Team members are supported to undertake training and career development. The team has strong links with local Core Teams, GPs, Wards and Psychiatric Liaison services.

Job Responsibilities and Main duties include delivering high quality comprehensive mental health services, managing a defined caseload with expert assessment and treatment for people with complex mental health difficulties and their carers, recovery co-ordination, statutory Adult Social Care care management (assessment, care planning and reviewing), and liaison with statutory and non-statutory agencies. The post holder will contribute to clinical leadership, provide supervision for other members and participate in team and service development.

Salary: £38,682 to £46,580 a year
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Full-time, Part-time, Flexible working
Band: Band 6
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality comprehensive mental health services with a defined caseload.
* Provide expert assessment and treatment for people with complex mental health difficulties and their carers.
* Coordinate recovery and design/co-ordinate personalised treatment packages evaluated in line with payment by results.
* Provide statutory Adult Social Care care management functions (assessment, care planning and reviewing).
* Liaise with a wide range of statutory and non-statutory agencies.
* Contribute to clinical leadership, supervision for team members, and service development.
Qualifications
* Essential: A professional mental health qualification (e.g., RMN, Social Work Degree or equivalent, BSc/Diploma in OT, SROT, Chartered Clinical Psychologist) on the appropriate professional body register with current registration and no restrictions.
* Essential: Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
* Essential: Safeguarding training at level 3; mentoring students in line with professional requirements.
* Essential: A recognised relevant qualification in pharmacy or nursing.
* Desirable: Postgraduate qualification relevant to specialism; Clinical supervision qualification; evidence of leadership/management training.
* Knowledge: Essential understanding of the NSF and Mental Health Act / Mental Health Capacity Act requirements; CPA Process; awareness of community structures and social care management responsibilities; understanding of recovery principles in Mental Health. Desirable: Basic IT Skills; ability to be geographically mobile across a large area.
