Daytime Healthcare are supporting the national live‑in service across the country and are looking for an Acting Assistant Service Manager to join their team in Tunbridge Wells. This role supports people who have learning disabilities, communication difficulties and behaviours of concern.

Full driving licence required.
Responsibilities
* Work in partnership with the Service Manager, Registered Manager and other key stakeholders to deliver safe, high‑quality services for service users.
* Support the Service Manager in the recruitment, development and management of staff to provide them with the skills, experience and behaviours necessary to provide a safe, high‑quality service to people supported.
* Support the Service Manager and participate in the monitoring/management of service budgets.
* Assist the Service Manager in the delivery of the service in order to meet the needs and aspirations of people supported.
Hours
* This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract and a full‑time position at 39 hours per week.
* Night shifts only, including waking night.
* Expectation to provide management cover during night shifts, including weekends when required.
* Required to support the Service Manager in completing waking night spot checks of the service twice a year.
Required Experience
* Managing budgets and financial information, taking appropriate action where necessary.
* Working with vulnerable people, including individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or an acquired brain injury.
* Experience of leading a team.
Desirable Experience
* Working with individuals with behaviours that challenge (for PBS services).
* Working with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (for PMLD services).
* Setting objectives and ensuring these are met.
* Delivering services in compliance with contracts.
* Managing in at least one social care setting.
