Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and driven Sales Administrator with a can-do attitude to join our small, but expanding, friendly office team and to support our growing operations.
This position plays a crucial role in supporting our UK and export sales operations, ensuring smooth processing of orders, and providing excellent customer service.
Own transport is required due to the rural location of our offices near Bungay, Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities
* Process sales orders for both UK and export customers, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment
* Maintain and update sales records, providing reports as required
* Track orders and provide updates to customers as necessary
* Communicate with various logistics providers to arrange timely deliveries and resolve any shipping issues
* Coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels to meet customer demand
* Work with logistics and warehouse colleagues to ensure efficient order processing
* Answer incoming phone calls professionally, addressing customer enquiries and directing calls as needed
* Support team members with ad-hoc tasks as required, contributing to a collaborative work environment
* Perform other various administrative tasks, sometimes assisting colleagues across other departments
Requirements
* At least 2 years' administration experience
* Experience in sales/distribution administration is highly advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be given
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
* A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
* Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate initiative
* Must be at least 18 years of age due to rules regulating the sale of alcohol
* Own transport, due to the rural location, with no access to public transport

Working Hours
Monday-Thursday: 8.30am-5pm and Friday: 8.30am-4pm (although some flexibility will be required) with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
