Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Security Officer to join our Events team at Enable. This role includes ensuring safety for all venue attendees and delivering exceptional customer service, in line with regulations, processes and procedures, under the direction of Duty Managers/Lead Security Officer.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Events Operations and Venues Manager, ensure safety and security of the premises and visitors; deliver exceptional customer service.
* Deliver highest levels of visitor service, upholding Enable’s core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
* Work early mornings and late nights, and on weekends on a rota basis; ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to; manage guests as they enter and leave venues. Hold an in-date and valid SIA badge to apply.
* Collaborate with the Events Team; communicate venue restrictions, rules and limitations to clients, guests and suppliers.
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure park rules and safe setup during early mornings; manage guests and coordinate supplier breakdown during late nights.
* Coordinate safe traffic management of suppliers and guest vehicles in the park.
The successful candidate will have
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor License (minimum)
* Experience in the Security Industry
* Experience in outdoor and/or indoor security environments
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* A positive attitude
* Strong decision-making skills
* Excellent time management
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and during emergencies
* Willingness to learn and complete essential training
* Full manual UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
* Willingness to work weekends, early mornings, and late nights on a rota basis
* 0-hour contract
