PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Joining a busy team, you will ensure all enquiries and quotes are dealt with whilst efficiently processing new sales orders, dealing with customer issues and providing effective administrative support within a fast paced office environment. CONTRACTED HOURS: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday 08:00-17:00) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES: * Prepare and issue accurate quotations for door and joinery products to construction industry buyers * Liaise directly with customers, site agents, and project managers to ensure clear communication and excellent service. * Oversee the smooth progression of orders from quote through to fulfilment. * Place orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. * Maintain accurate records and pricing using internal systems (training provided). * Ad-hoc duties when required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * A minimum of 5 GCSE’s, or equivalent, including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above * Strong customer service background * Proficient with Microsoft packages (including Word and Excel) * Experience in a similar previous role and industry would be desirable, however training will be provided * A background in manufacturing would be advantageous KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: * Must be proactive and have a positive approach * Motivated and detail-oriented * Detailed and methodical * Able to prioritise workloads to meet ever changing departmental and organisational deadlines * Ability to work in a collaborative team and individually * Customer Focused * Must feel confident in communicating with customers of all levels ADDITIONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Conscientious and task focused * Capable of working under pressure * Must be IT literate to a high standard
