ISO Internal Auditor (IMS) - Permanent Opportunity
DIVISION: Central LOCATION: Hillsborough, Northern Ireland with UK wide travel
We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced ISO Internal Auditor, to join our growing team in our Hillsborough Head Office.
Reporting to the (ISO) Internal Audit Manager, the ISO Internal Auditor will be responsible for providing assurance regarding Graham compliance with the various internationally recognised standards and accreditations it has chosen to pursue such as ISO, ISO and awareness of ISO.
The Internal Systems Auditor will coordinate audits, share findings, best practices and progress common actions and improvements. They will also be responsible for helping the business address areas for improvement identified during audits and will be required to travel to various UK wide sites.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience within an ISO Auditing role and will be process driven, with the ability to balance priorities and deadlines. They should also be flexible to travel to nationwide sites for the role, when required. We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have exposure to the Construction industry, although this is not essential.
Principal duties:
1. Conducting internal audits in accordance with the ISO and ISO standards; at the most appropriate locations.
2. Following the Internal Audit Schedule as prepared by the ISO Internal audit manager
3. Communicating effectively with senior and middle managers throughout the business regarding the internal audit schedule, audit arrangements and timely close out of NCs.
4. Preparing audit reports as an outcome of internal audits and publishing these in a timely manner.
5. Following up on actions identified as requirements in the audit reports referred to above.
6. Highlighting to the ISO Internal audit manager any specific, major threats to the business that arise from the internal audit process.
7. Helping the business address areas for improvement identified during audits.
8. Share best management practices and progress common actions and improvements across departments.
9. Advising and contributing towards the development of Management Systems related to the IMS
10. Accompanying 3rd Party Auditors during surveillance and certification visits.

Essential Requirements:
21. Proven experience as an Internal ISO Auditor in ISO and ISO standards with awareness of ISO,
22. Possess strong communication and organisational skills
23. Able to work from initiative, meeting strict deadlines, prioritising and planning workload
24. Have excellent attention to detail, with an analytical and precision- orientated mind-set
25. Demonstrate a willingness to advance personally by learning new skills and developing further – technically & professionally, at every opportunity
26. Be an effective ‘team player’
27. Have the flexibility to travel to nationwide sites
Desirable Requirements:
28. Professional qualification/ chartership MCQI.
29. Lead auditor training for ISO, ISO
30. Construction background
