Senior Support Worker – Creative Support
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire. Pay: Up to £12.90 per hour. Employment: Full-time. Rota includes evenings and weekends.
We are looking for a calm, resourceful, and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join our friendly team to make a difference to the lives of people living in a service provision in Shipley, Bradford. You will provide person‑centred care and support to individuals with mental health and autism needs, enabling them to take part in all aspects of everyday life and enjoy a wide range of activities.
Responsibilities
* Assist the management team to lead and supervise a team of Support Workers to implement individualized support, ensuring consistency and effective communication throughout;
* Provide person-centered care and support to adults with mental health and autism needs;
* Work within a positive behaviour support framework and follow agreed guidelines;
* Participate in flexible rota hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications & Experience
* Prior experience of supporting adults with mental health is essential;
* Relevant qualification (NVQ Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3) is desirable, or willingness to work toward one;
* Positive communication and engagement skills, demonstrating unconditional positive regard for people you support;
* Mature, able to accept responsibility, and able to work positively within a consistent and mutually supportive team.
