Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) invites applicants to apply for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner post. This is a substantive position based at The Newtown Centre in Huntingdon, within the Adult Locality Team.
The post holder will provide specialist nursing leadership within the team, including specialist assessments and nursing interventions for service users. They will promote an effective ethos across the service, working closely with the team and service managers. Responsibilities include reviewing clinical policies and guidelines, supporting and implementing practice changes, liaising with other organizations and professionals, conducting audits, supervising staff, and leading appropriate interventions.
The candidate must hold a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification and support medical reviews under the supervision of the team’s consultant psychiatrist. They are also expected to manage a caseload.
