Job Description
1. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.
2. Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to identify cost factors and potential risks.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
4. Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
5. Provide support in pre-construction planning and feasibility studies.
6. Monitor and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions and pricing trends.
7. Participate in client meetings to present and explain cost estimates as needed.
8. Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Estimator should have:
9. Proven experience in construction cost estimating within the property industry.
10. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
11. Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with teams and clients.
14. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
