Job Description
3. Manage and oversee the organisation's governance framework and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Provide expert advice and guidance on governance matters to internal stakeholders.
5. Prepare and coordinate board and committee meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes.
6. Monitor and review governance policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
7. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance governance understanding across the organisation.
8. Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of governance-related activities.
9. Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate governance risks.
10. Support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives through sound governance practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Governance Manager should have:
11. Proven experience in governance, compliance, or a related field within the public sector.
12. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
13. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft formal documents.
