Sustainability Consultant (BREEAM / WLC) – Near Watford
Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
We're working with a highly regarded sustainability consultancy with a strong reputation across the built environment. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Sustainability Consultant to join their expanding technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–3 years' experience to develop across a broad range of services including BREEAM, Whole Life Carbon (WLC), HQM and wider sustainability consultancy.
The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering technical sustainability services across a varied project portfolio, including:
Supporting and delivering BREEAM assessments and associated services
Exposure to Whole Life Carbon (WLC), HQM and wider certification frameworks
Working across broader energy and sustainability consultancy projects
Attending and contributing to client meetings, workshops and project discussions
Producing high-quality technical reports and presentations
Managing your own projects while supporting senior consultants
Coordinating project information, timelines and documentation
You'll also gain exposure to project management, client interaction, and business development, giving you a well-rounded consultancy skillset early in your career.
What they're looking for
Minimum of 2 years' experience within sustainability / building consultancy
Experience working on BREEAM projects
Interest or exposure to Whole Life Carbon or wider sustainability services
Strong organisational, communication and report writing skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
