School Administrator – Dalry Primary School
Salary: £27,257 – £29,850 (pro‑rata for part‑time and sessional). Hours: 17.5 per week, 40 weeks sessional. Working pattern: Monday – Friday 08:30 to 12:00.
Dalry Primary School is a diverse and multicultural primary school and nursery located 5 minutes from Haymarket Station. We are seeking a proactive, solution‑focused School Administrator to join our hard‑working and committed team.
Responsibilities
* Operate financial, management information and budgetary information systems and services for the school.
* Manage and supervise administrative support staff.
* Deliver a wide range of administrative, clerical, secretarial and general office support services.
* Work closely with the Head Teacher and wider school staff to provide a professional and welcoming front‑of‑house service.
* Ensure confidentiality and data protection at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in office administration, monitoring budgets, maintaining financial and other records, and using computerised information systems.
* Experience working in a school is highly desirable, with knowledge of school processes and information systems.
* Strong people‑management skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Other Information
* Role involves working on all floors of a Victorian building with multiple stairs.
* Regulated work with children and/or protected adults – PVG Scheme or update required; Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent 3 months or more abroad in last 5 years.
* Salary range typically increases annually until reaching the top of the range.
* Flexible working is available.
