About the Role We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Shift Lead to take ownership of a key production area. This role is about leading from the front - driving performance, supporting your team, and ensuring standards are consistently met across safety, quality and service. You'll have real accountability for results, with the autonomy to identify issues, remove barriers and implement improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead your team to deliver daily production targets across service, quality and cost Monitor performance, identify trends (downtime, waste, yields) and take action to improve Manage labour effectively in line with production plans Drive high GMP and food safety standards Embed HACCP controls and ensure full compliance with traceability and due diligence requirements Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring safe systems of work are followed and regularly reviewed Use root cause analysis to resolve issues and prevent repeat problems Support continuous improvement initiatives across the area Develop, coach and manage team performance About You We're looking for someone who: Has hands-on people management experience in a manufacturing environment Can lead confidently on the shop floor and engage teams positively Has experience driving improvements and sustaining performance Is comfortable managing performance and developing individuals Thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment (chilled experience advantageous) Benefits Up to 33 days Annual Leave including Bank Holidays Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme and Grocery Aid Company Pension Scheme Boparan Restaurant Group Discount Cycle2Work Scheme Why Join Us?
