Overview
Kidney Transplant Surgeon – mid to senior, sought for Montefiore Einstein Transplant Center. Program performs over 230 kidney transplants per year and is among the region’s most aggressive in organ acceptance.
Responsibilities
* Lead adult and pediatric kidney and pancreas transplant surgeries.
* Perform live donor nephrectomy, pancreas transplantation, and general surgery in dialysis patients.
* Engage in program management, clinical quality, and surgical team leadership.
* Contribute to academic efforts, including teaching and research.
Qualifications
* Board certified in transplant or general surgery with at least five years post fellowship experience.
* Demonstrable technical expertise in kidney/pancreas transplant and live donor procedures.
* Track record of academic achievement and publication.
* Robotic surgical experience is a plus.
