Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Domiciliary Care Coordinator / Team Leader to join our growing domiciliary care company in Cardiff. This part-time contract role is essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients in the community. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating care plans, leading a team of care staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, thereby contributing to the overall well-being of our service users. This role also offers a clear career progression pathway for the right candidate to develop into a Registered Manager position in the future. Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee the delivery of domiciliary care services to clients in their homes. Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff, ensuring they are trained and motivated. Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each client. Conduct regular assessments and reviews of client care needs and staff performance. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and staff performance. Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care. Participate in on-call duties as required to support staff and clients. Qualifications/Requirements: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the social care sector. A relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Strong understanding of care regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and time management skills. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
