Job Title: Customer Service Advisor (Temporary) Location: Chester-le-Street Pay: £12.50 per hour Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8.30am-5pm & Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm. Dates: 8th September - 19th September (may be extended) Role Purpose To provide excellent customer service by booking vehicles in and out, arranging courtesy cars, and ensuring customers receive efficient, professional support at all times. Key Responsibilities Greet customers professionally and handle enquiries by phone and in person. Book vehicles for repair, prepare job cards, and keep accurate records. Provide regular updates to customers on progress. Arrange courtesy cars and complete required paperwork. Take payments and follow correct banking procedures. Keep the filing system and management system (Autoflow) accurate and up to date. Handle customer complaints politely and follow company procedures. Maintain a tidy and professional reception area. Adhere to GDPR, Health & Safety, and company policies.Requirements Previous experience in customer service (automotive experience an advantage). Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. IT literate with good organisational skills. Positive, professional, and able to manage multiple tasks.
