Overview of the role

Working alongside our permanent staff team, not only will you make a huge difference topeople’s lives, but you’ll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensuresthe people we work with are safe, happy and leadfulfilling lives.
Key duties
* Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
* Medication administration
* Assisting and getting involved in residents'daily activities, hobbies or outings
* Following care plan guidance alongsideCompany policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completingtraining, as required

Where willl you work?
Opened in December 2016, Oakley Lodge in Basingstoke is a purpose-built, residential community home for 12 residents of varying ages with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs, including those people who present behaviours that challenge. Oakley Lodge has its own Day Activities Coordinator, responsible for developing individual and group activity programmes. A tailor-made activities building provides a dedicated space for arts and crafts, and skills development.
