Job Summary
(Drivers prefered)We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in various locations Including whitchurh, Wem, Malpas and surrounding areas. we have various shifts available, This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. A strong understanding of care plans and home care is preferred however not essential as full training can be provided.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the nursing staff.
* Support clients in engaging in social activities and community outings.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
* Previous experience in care, hospice care, or home care is and advantage but not essential as full training can be given.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need.
