About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Stores (Warehouse) Manager to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. You will be responsible for managing all warehouse operations to ensure optimal stock levels, workplace safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are monitored and replenished.
* Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to achieve performance and safety targets.
* Implement and improve warehouse procedures and systems to optimize productivity.
* Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
* Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
* Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) as needed.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Warehouse or Stores Manager (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
* Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
* Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems (e.g., ERP or WMS).
* Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or business are an advantage.
* Forklift license or certification is a plus.
