Responsibilities
* Safely drive and operate the van to transport goods to designated locations.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Requirements
* Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is preferred.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers.
* Experience in warehouse operations is an advantage.
* Capability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
* Flexibility in working hours, including potential early starts or late finishes as required by delivery schedules.
